Hey guys

Been posting on the Facebook group for a couple of months and saw the link to this forum. Have to say first impressions of it are very good! It nice looking so very well done to the guys that made it!

My name is Gary and I am in Didcot, Oxfordshire. I have been into performance cars the whole time I've been driving but now sadly I found the need for something much cheaper to run.

I was on the lookout for something nice, reasonably sporty, estate, automatic and cheap to run and I was immediately drawn to the 9-3 wagon. Then I discovered that there was twin turbo diesel with 177bhp available so concentrated my search for one of those. I eventually bought this one 100 miles away from a Saab specialist dealer in Chelmsford.

It came with a great spec including what seems to be a rare £2000 factory option satnav screen.

I found the performance and handling very good for an automatic diesel estate car but I still got it in for a cheeky remap at AMD where it came back with around 210bhp and 300lb/ft of torque enabling me to once again hassle the local hot hatches!

I don't really have any plans for this other than to keep it looking and running nice for as long as I have it!

Thanks for listening, you've been great!

Gary

Welcome to the forum Gary. Thank you for the kind words. That is one awesome ride you have. TTiD with the upgraded 210 hp is an awesome choice. We never got that choice in the US as far as I know. I  also love the Aero styling they included on your car. That Satnav is very rare also. Your plan of just keeping it running and beautiful is what I exactly would do with this car. However I am addicted to  lowering my cars and placing slightly larger wheels on it.  Something this.

Wow that looks epic! If our roads weren't so shocking I'd definitely be doing something similar!
